WORLD HIGHLIGHTS
The interactivity and interpersonal relations of the present, transcend to the phenomenon of the virtual community and even wonder about generational charges, from a system of family memories and longings. These three films define a series of writings and answers applied to social dynamics, to understand the lightness of being, to understand how personalities are defined from intimacy and from generational inheritance. The vital thing in these proposals is the use of audiovisual resources and even the dialogue between possible formats and narratives, privileging the plastic level in relation to the stories.

El convenio y la máquina (The agreement and the machine) is an audiovisual essay that revolves around two restructuring processes, industrial and personal. How the first dismembered the class consciousness of an entire community and the second brought it back. All narrated from a present awaiting that other desired third reconversion that seems not to finish arriving, we even see how it moves away; that of the system, that of values.
A portrait of the society resulting from that social experiment that was the creation of a factory town on occupied land facing the Mediterranean Sea and surrounded by fruit trees. The last fifty years of evolution and change narrated from the author’s conditioned gaze based on memories, perceptions and emotions that have been impregnated over the years based on his own lived experience and that of those around him. and share path in the process.
As an author (as a son and as a father) I face the inheritance received and I face the challenge of putting order in his present to articulate his legacy to transmit.
The narration is approached with an always constructive intention far from nostalgic or revisionist positions with one foot placed in the present and another in the near future. Thus the author tries to unravel the enigma that accompanies human reactions, whether with those around us or with oneself; with the aim of understanding and anticipating the transformations that we are experiencing with the evolution of experiences and time at the individual level. Discovering and celebrating that waste, uselessness, or errors are sources of wisdom of great value, as important as any other since they portray us with precision that is not conditioned by desires to appear or make-up for others.

In a carpentry workshop, Lorenzo restores the decomposed corpse of an old wooden chair, which was abandoned. Meanwhile, on the other side of the city, the silence of the cemetery is interrupted by the buzz of a beehive, which lives inside a vault. Miguel, the local gravedigger, discovers the hectic work of the bees and exhumes the last breath of life that was trying to grow in the form of a scream.
