113 poetic experimental and contemporary audiovisual artworks, originating from 31 countries around the world, unveil the subjective, profound, sensitive, as well as political and factual universes of the artists. This cinema showcase, presenting a high degree of aesthetic, philosophical, technical, and discursive singularity and diversity, becomes a lens through which to observe, in every frame, the labyrinths of the human experience.

The ninth version of the Bogotá Experimental Film Festival, privileged those films and artists that expand recognition towards all possible narratives, combining technical skills with ideas and concepts, about a content full of nuances both thematic and of a personal and collective nature. The audiovisual experiences scheduled here think about the viewer, otherwise valuing their place in the movie theater, as well as from the outdoor audiovisual projection, without forgetting an academic programming axis that involves encounters with artists, creative laboratories, extensive talks and content interaction at the virtual level. In this way we seek to expand the current creative emphasis on Colombian, Latin American and world audiovisual art during the month of August and we hope this is the opportunity to meet once again around cinema and its creative possibilities.
This Official Selection is divided into three large collections: HIGHLIGHTED ARTWORKS, GEOGRAPHIC PANORAMA and THEMATIC PANORAMAS.
