COLOMBIAN HIGHLIGHTS

In these two proposals, the real and figurative is overflowing, to transcend other possible experiences around audiovisual creation. Possibly there is not a single story or characters, because there are both atmospheres and textures or treatment with the file image and animation. It is perhaps a commitment to take the viewer to a multidimensional space/time.

In Casa Cabuya the absence left by the death of a father is revealed, through a space that evokes the past through sounds, objects and actions distributed in a family home. It is a territory that is entered in a random path, where thoughts that seem to wander through a mind belonging to a dream universe are revealed, revealing themselves in the same way as a dream works. It is a transit to the internal world of the unconscious of a being that exists in the “non-spatial” Félix, being between life and death, thinks about what was the deep meaning of his life, going through fragments of thought, which are shown as coherent inconsistencies , of dimensions and abstract worlds belonging to the place of memory.
